Barricades at the Crossroads

Will I be staying?
Will I be straying?
They will be x-raying
And I will be paying.
No one at my side.
No place to hide.

Not saying.
Certainly praying.
Perhaps playing.
Determinedly delaying
To keep lives from fraying.
Laying hopes aside.
Here to abide.

Enjoying new adventures - all those things I put off for lack of time, energy, now I can try them! Pottery, writing, traveling, camping, kayaking, dancing, listening to some of the best live music ever, and making passionate, lively new friendships.
