Life Lessons from a Rooster

A friend doesn’t have to be just like me to be a friend.

All dogs are not created equal.  Don’t be fooled by appearances.

Meals from scratch are so worth it; the variety is endless. Fastfood from someplace else served by someone else is usually the same ol’ same ol’ and way overrated.

Life can be good with a significant other, but it can be good without one, too.

It’s okay to be on the lookout for compatible significant others.

It’s nice to have a place to roost.

Having a place to roost helps one ride out the storms.

Don’t be too predictable.  Cock-a-doodle-doing in the middle of the afternoon might raise an eyebrow or two, but there’s nothing wrong with it.

It’s okay to be a chicken.
